Tales from the Season Ender Bender..

We’re still putting the pieces back together from the first leg of the BI-Coastal Season Ender Bender Tour.. Needless to say it was a good time. Thanks to everyone who came out, we had a blast. We’ll be reliving the memories right here so keep posted for the next month or so because we have ridiculous amounts of content just aching to be posted.. Here’s the first installment…

Tales from the Season Ender Bender Part 1.

I knew it was going to be a rough one when we almost miss the flight to Toronto Thursday morning. Lets just say Obreezy’s night got away from him on a casual pop in at the Cambie after assuring the crew he’s just out for a couple to say bye to some friends before packing for his first trip involving a plane. Fast forward to 3pm and he’s screaming like a maniac outside the fort. He’s a complete mess (rolling around in the grass crying “I fucked up, I fucked up” no cell, no wallet and even worse no ID. Which you should know is mandatory to get on the plane which is now departing in less than 6 hours. Lucky for Obreezy, Rupert and Keating get on the phone, call every cab company in Vancouver and somehow convince them to page all units in the biggest ever hunt for a drunk guys missing wallet. 2 hours later the wallets recovered, still no cell but Obreezy’s trip is saved. Everyone hugs and he heads home to rest up for the 11:30 am flight.. We meet up at the fort for 9am to get organized giving us an hour to get to the airport and just enough time to catch the flight. Obreezy rolls in 9:30ish a complete beauty wearing a pair of I’m assuming stolen black cross trainers and a self V’d sleeveless Motley Crew T with little recollection of the nights affairs. Now pretty stretched for time we catch a lift to the sea bus with Rupert. By the time we reach downtown to catch the train to the airport we’re way behind schedule and looking like we’re going to miss the flight I’m stressing, thinking to myself the trip hasn’t even started and we’re already blowing it. I look over at Obreezy and he’s sawing logs on the train not a care in the world and me and Matt look at each other and start laughing, shaking our heads about what we signed our selves up for. Things somehow work out and we make it to our gate with enough time to celebrate with a victory beer.
